The Blaupunkt folding e-bike FRIDEL® (model 2024) with 24-inch wheels combines style and functionality and will quickly become your best everyday companion. Whether you’re riding to work, running errands or exploring the city, this bike in the color “night-grey” matte is ready for it all.
Foldable
Equipped with a quick folding mechanism, the Blaupunkt FRIDEL® (model 2024) can be easily folded and thus reduced to half the size. In just a few steps, the folding e-bike becomes a handy and easy-to-store “package”. A clever magnetic holder fixes the front and rear parts of the folding bike. The low weight of approx. 24 kg also makes it easy and pleasant to take with you in the car, bus and train.
Folded in no time with just a few simple steps – here’s how it works:
1. Press both pedals towards the crank and then fold them 90°.
2. Loosen the quick release on the handlebar, pull the handlebar all the way up and turn it 90°.
3. Open the frame lock and swing the front part of the bike backwards until the practical magnetic holder fixes both parts together. (Swinging is easiest when the bike is on the stand and some pressure is applied to the rear of the bike.)
Bicycle computer with color display
The color display is not only clear and easy to read, but also offers a variety of useful information: current battery life, speed, route information and much more. The 5 motor support levels are controlled via the bike computer. The motor power can also be completely deactivated or can be used as a pushing aid.
Strong motor
The powerful 36-volt rear wheel hub motor from AKM with an ideal torque of 50 Newton meters offers the perfect support. This means you can easily climb mountains and climbs, defy the strongest headwinds and forget the heaviest load on the luggage rack.
Intube battery
The powerful Li-ion battery with 580 watt hours ensures a range of up to 110 km (depending on driving style, load and area of use). It is placed in the frame of the e-bike (Intube), which improves the protection of the battery and the appearance of the e-bike. The battery can be removed for charging or left in the frame. To protect against theft, the battery is secured with a lock.
Reliable hydraulic brakes
Thanks to the hydraulic Tektro HD-E500 disc brakes, which work well in any weather, you can brake safely and reliably. You only need a small amount of force and can brake with one finger without any problems and precisely dose the braking force. You can be sure of that.
Everything is under control
The ergonomic handlebar grips have a larger area for the hands. This reduces pressure and prevents the wrists from bending. On longer journeys, your hands are less likely to fall asleep. You have a better driving experience with more support and safety.
Foldable handlebar
The practical quick-release lever allows the height of the handlebar to be adjusted in seconds, which can also be rotated through 90 degrees without tools. This saves you valuable space when transporting or storing your bike.
Universal smartphone holder included
A smartphone can be easily mounted on the handlebar using the universal holder (rotatable for portrait or landscape format). A special highlight: It can be supplied with power via a connection on the bike computer and charged straight away.
Integrated comfort suspension
Experience relaxed driving fun: With the comfortable gel saddle from Selle Royal and the spring-loaded seat post, you are spared from excessive stress. The impact energy is reduced by up to 50%. Your back and other parts of your body will thank you and longer tours will be child’s play.
Automatic lighting
The integrated light function switches the light on automatically as soon as it gets dark. Alternatively, you can of course also switch it on and off manually on the bike computer. The front light impresses with a particularly high brightness of 60 lux and illuminates your path perfectly. The rear light ensures the necessary safety through good visibility in traffic.
Functional luggage rack
Not only stable and elegant with a matt black finish. The luggage rack is also functional and compatible with the widespread “Racktime System”, which easily fixes bicycle baskets and bicycle bags to the luggage rack.
Safety tires
The comfortable 24 inch tires not only have reflective strips for better visibility in the dark. They also feature puncture protection, which minimizes the risk of punctures caused by sharp objects such as broken glass. You’ll definitely love it!
