Unique design! Great sound! Unobvious features!

Sophisticated and unusual vertical design, resonance-resistant structure and fully automatic belt drive are just some of the strengths of this device. Built-in two-way Bluetooth, Audio Technica AT3600L cartridge, headphone output and RCA audio output, as well as built-in speakers powered by a 2 x 5 Watt RMS output amplifier and a smart arm position control button round out the list of impressive features.

The VT100 is a design-unusual vertical turntable that combines elements of vintage style with modern functionality.

FULLY AUTOMATIC SYSTEM

This is a fully automatic turntable, which means that virtually all operation is reduced to mounting the vinyl record on the platter and activating the start button. The unit then activates a mechanism that moves the arm from its resting position to the point where playback of the record begins. The turntable supports both long-playing records with a diameter of 12“ and 7” records, so-called singles. Before starting playback, switch the record size switch on the turntable’s main panel to the appropriate position. When the record is finished playing, the turntable arm will automatically raise and return to the rest position, unless the repeat play function is activated using the REPEAT button on the control panel, in which case the arm will return to the home position and start playing the record again.

BELT DRIVE

The VT100 is equipped with a belt drive – a classic and proven method of transferring torque from a slow-speed motor to the turntable platter. The undoubted advantages of this solution are quiet operation and relatively low operating costs – the belt itself is replaced every few years or when there is an audible change in speed.

TWO PLAYBACK SPEEDS

This model supports two playback speeds – 33 1/3 and 45 rpm. The speed is changed using a dedicated switch on the control panel. The speed should be adjusted according to the speed at which the vinyl record was pressed – usually this information can be found on the record label or in the insert attached to the album. If there is no such information, we will hear very quickly whether the selected playback speed is correct – then it should be adjusted.

ARM POSITION CONTROL

The VT100 also has a rare arm position control function. Using the appropriate switch on the control panel, we can move the arm both forward and backward to select the appropriate track on the disc or to return to a particular section of the song being played.

MMC CARTRIDGE

The turntable is equipped with an AT3600L cartridge from the renowned manufacturer Audio-Technica. It is a cartridge with a movable magnet and a spherical cut diamond needle, providing a detailed and warm sound. For optimum playback quality, the pressure on the needle was set at the optimal level for this design – 3.5 g.

BUILT-IN STEREO SPEAKER WITH PASSIVE DIAPHRAGM

The VT100 has a built-in stereo speaker with a passive diaphragm for improved low-end acoustic performance. The speaker is powered by a built-in amplifier with a rated output power of 2 x 5 watts RMS. This allows the turntable to provide optimal sound in an intimate space.

ANTI-RESONANT DESIGN

The built-in speaker features an anti-resonant design that dampens vibrations and nullifies their effect on the cartridge’s operation. The entire body of the turntable is also equipped with rubber feet with sufficient flexibility to reduce the possibility of low-frequency feedback.

TWO-WAY BLUETOOTH MODULE (IN-OUT)

The player is equipped with a bidirectional Bluetooth module, which makes it possible to play music files, for example, from a smartphone using the built-in stereo speaker. However, the key functionality of this module is the ability to connect external active speakers or amplifiers, as well as Bluetooth headphones and play a vinyl record signal using them.

AUDIO SIGNAL OUTPUTS

There is also a classic headphone output in the form of a mini-jack socket, as well as an RCA line output, located on the rear panel. With these outputs, using appropriate cables, it is possible to connect the turntable to a microphone or to more advanced audio systems.

HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS

The turntable was made from a combination of high-quality materials – plastic, which makes up the front panel, a metal grille covering the speaker, and MDF, from which the body is made. The whole is finished with a veneer in the color of European oak.

Unusual appearance, functionality and ease of use are features that are sure to appeal to any person who appreciates the warmth of analog sound and unparalleled design. It is a treat for both vintage style enthusiasts and fans of more modernistic forms. The VT100 is certainly not just another ordinary vinyl record player! It’s an elegant addition that will fill any space with good sound and add a touch of good style.
