Longstanding Blaupunkt Partner to Take Command of Blaupunkt Car Audio North America Competence Center

BP Americas, based in Florida and California, will expand their partnership with the Blaupunkt brand to include the category of car audio products in North America

As of July 2022, BP Americas will be managing the Blaupunkt business in North America as the sole partner for the product category of car audio in the region. The car audio line developed and produced by BP Americas will be the only authorized car audio products available in North America.

On the topic of the partnership extension Andrzej Cebrat, Managing Director of GIP Development said,

Blaupunkt to present its new South American SDA and drones line-up at the Eletrolar show in Brazil for the first time

BLAUPUNKT presented its new Small Domestic Appliance and Drones line-up at the Eletrolar Show in South America for the first time

 

Someco Electronics S.A., alongside two representatives from the BLAUPUNKT headquarters in Europe were ecstatic to have their first showcase in South America to present its 2022 line-up for the market. After a brief hiatus from attending Trade Shows and other in-person events it was a breath of fresh air to be able to come together at Eletrolar in São Paulo. Attendees at this year’s show were able to experience the brand new BLAUPUNKT portfolio of small domestic appliances, beauty, and personal care products. Also on display were the exciting addition of the trending category of BLAUPUNKT drones.

Major UK retailer, B&M, extends flourishing partnership with the Blaupunkt brand through 2025

The Blaupunkt Global Brand Community is elated to announce that an agreement has been struck between the Blaupunkt brand and B&M which will strengthen its already successful business cooperation

On the extension, Romain Peter, a portfolio manager for the Blaupunkt brand stated,

Action sports and outdoor enthusiast Greg Manning to build-up the BLAUPUNKT e-bike business in North America

The BLAUPUNKT competence center E-Bikes North America is excited to announce its hiring of the hall of fame athlete to introduce Blaupunkt E-Bikes to the USA and Canada

Manning joins the team with a background in most every facet of the action sports industry.

On his decision to join the Blaupunkt Global Brand Community as the VP or Marketing and Sales for the Blaupunkt E-Bike launch in North America Greg Manning said,

“As a long-time owner of Blaupunkt car stereos and as a veteran cyclist Blaupunkt Hit All the Marks! I jumped on the opportunity to work with Blaupunkt E-bikes.”

With over 55 national event sponsorships between 1999-2020 including the Red Bull Ultra-Cross, Jose Cuervo Snowboard Pipe, and the Winter Olympics. Manning is not only proficient in Snowboarding, Skateboarding, Surfing, Biking, Golf, and Motocross he is also a pioneer in active sports brand management and business development. He has over 25 years’ experience with the X-Games and active sports brand management. This extensive experience with high profile events and business development coupled with his passion for action sports is what makes him the ideal addition to the team for the upcoming Blaupunkt E-Bike launch in North America.

The Blaupunkt Competence Center North America is launching a portfolio of foldable E-bikes targeted toward commuters and anyone with a traveling lifestyle. The first sneak peak of the European-made E-Bike models for the North American market was at the Sea Otter Classic in April of 2022. This foldable E-bike line has already been well received across Europe. The 2022 models are the “Fiene 500”, “Fiete 500”, and “Henri 500”. These models fold to half their size and weigh only 47 lbs allowing them to be stored at home or in a trunk. In addition to being compact this product line has a range of up to 44 miles, boasts 3 levels of pedal support, and the charging time from empty to full should take 4-6 hours total.

Longstanding Blaupunkt partner extends agreement cementing a nearly 30 year partnership

The contract was prolonged for an additional 5 years after an already profitable 24 year relationship

24 years ago, in 1998, BP India Private Limited (Formerly known as Blaupunkt India Private Limited) started its cooperation with the Blaupunkt brand. The partnership was recently extended for an additional 5 years solidifying their position with Blaupunkt through 2027.

About the extension Pankaj Jagwani, CEO of BP India stated,

“Being associated with Blaupunkt for so long has created a sense of accomplishment within our organization. My team and I are known in India as Blaupunkt so it is only natural that we continue the business.”

Over the 24 year relationship the company’s role with the Blaupunkt brand saw many transformations. BP India started the relationship as a retailer before to becoming a distributor for a Bombay city. Eventually, they secured the appointment of national distributors for the Blaupunkt brand. As the business continued to flourish in the region their role changed once again to joint venture partners before finalizing the transformation as they became an official member of the Blaupunkt Global Brand Community. 

”In all the roles that we have played in the Blaupunkt business the most profitable has been a license partner and we feel it will continue to do well for at least the next 10 years.”

Jagwani explained of the metamorphosis

“And, we just introduced accessories in India under Blaupunkt a few years ago and that has had a terrific start and the future looks full of potential for these accessories.”

Blaupunkt Tv’s ‘Made in India’ launched on Flipkart in July

Through a partnership with Super Plastronics PVT LTD (SPPL) four brand-new Blaupunkt brand Android Smart TVs that were made for the Indian market in India became available exclusively on Flipkart.

Starting in July the Indian manufacturer, Super Plastronics PVT LTD (SPPL), launched four new to the market ‘Made in India’ Android TV models. The Blaupunkt brand entered an exclusive partnership with the Indian manufacturer. Through this partnership Blaupunkt’s manufacturing, branding, designing, packaging, and retail supply chain management will be handled by SPPL, the 30-year-old manufacturer of home-grown brands. Since July 1st, 2021, Indian consumers have been able to find the new models of Blaupunkt TVs exclusively on Flipkart. With pricing starting from INR 17,999, the four Android TV models include a 32-inch HD Ready Cybersound Android TV, a 42-inch FHD Android TV, a 43-inch Cybersound 4K Android TV and 55-inch 4K Android TV. The 32-inch version, powered by Android 9 is bezel-less which comes with 40W speaker output, Edge-free sound technology, 2 speakers, and 1 GB Ram and 8 GB ROM to offer a smooth viewing experience. The 42-inch FHD Android TV is also powered by Android 9, and it includes a Ultra-Thin Bezel, 40W speaker output, Edge-free sound technology, 2 speakers, 1GB Ram and 8GB ROM. The brand has incorporated a 50W speaker output in the 43-inch 4K TV which is bezel-less. It has Dolby Digital Plus, DTS TruSurround certified audio with 4 amazing speakers and has used Dolby MS12, DTS TruSurround sound technology. The model is powered by Android 10 and is inbuilt with a 2GB Ram and 8GB ROM. An exquisite 55-inch model is bezel-less and has a 60W speaker output with Dolby Digital Plus, DTS TruSurround certified audio, Dolby MS12, DTS TruSurround sound technology, Android 10, 2GB Ram, 8GB Rom and 4 speakers just like the 43-inch version. Interestingly, all the models have 5.0 Bluetooth, 2 USB ports, 3 HDMI ports along with voice-enabled remote and ARM Cortex A53 Processor.
