When the alarm clock rings in the morning, we usually get out of bed with a heavy sigh. So it’s worth organising a wake-up call which will positively tune us into action for the whole day to come. The CR55CHARGE alarm-clock radio will be a great help for this.
The double alarm function (the facility of setting two wake-up times) and the snooze function (from 5 to 60 minutes) will be appreciated even by the heaviest sleepers. What’s more, you can decide about the type of alarm you want to be woken up by. You can choose between a classic buzzer or your favourite radio station. And it is this second way which will make you welcome the day with a smile!
The CR55CHARGE is also equipped with a radio tuner, which allows you to program 20 stations in its memory. With this feature, you don’t have to search all the frequencies every time you turn on the radio to find your favourite.
The alarm-clock radio is also capable of charging mobile devices. Moreover, with this model it is possible in two ways.
The first is classic wire-based charging. There is a USB port at the back of the device, to which you connect the charging cable for your smartphone or tablet.
The second way is wireless charging. Simply place a portable device with its rear side centrally on the top panel of the alarm-clock radio marked with a charging point. An illuminated wireless-charging indicator on the display indicates that the mobile device is charging. Please note that the wireless charging function works only with Qi-capable devices.
The current time is shown on a large blue LED display. The digits are clear and legible both day and night. The alarm clock also features a bottom LED backlight, which makes it look very modern at night. The dimming function allows the adjusting of the intensity of the display, so that it does not dazzle the eyes, and remains readable when the room is dark.
The sleep mode allows you to set the time after which the device switches off. This is especially useful when listening to the radio while falling asleep.
Its optional memory backup ensures that you don’t lose the alarm-clock settings in the event of a power failure. For this purpose, the device must be equipped with an additional CR2032 battery.
