Micro system with Bluetooth and CD/USB player MS30.2BT

The MS30.2BT is an upgraded version of the well-known and acclaimed model in the BLAUPUNKT MS30BT range. The upgraded version features an improved amplifier with the output boosted by 5 watts per channel and a significant improvement in sound quality that spans dynamics, clarity, more bass and treble and––last but not least––better stereophonic and spatial depth. The CD drive has also been revised, resulting in even faster operation and improved comfort. One key change is the addition of the TV AUDIO CONNECT function which uses an HDMI ARC port and optical input to provide a new dimension of sound from your flat-screen TV or gaming console. A new, larger and crispier LED display is now available, and if that wasn’t enough –– we have added a clock function with alarm.

FUNCTIONALITY

The MS30.2BT has an integrated Bluetooth module for connectivity with smartphones, tablets and other compatible devices as the sources for music file playback with output from the micro sound system’s speakers. The files can played back be from the disk of the connected mobile device or your favourite music can be streamed from online platforms or broadcast by internet radio, without any wired connections.

The HDMI ARC port on the rear panel allows you to input the audio signal from any TV that has an HDMI ARC port and enjoy a much more dynamic sound when watching movies or TV series. The feature enables basic operation of the micro sound system to be handled using the TV remote. The micro sound system is commanded to power on automatically with the connected TV set. This enables volume control and muting, and when your listening or viewing session is finished, you can turn off both the TV and the sound system with a press of the same button.

There is an optical input next to the HDMI ARC port. You can use it to connect the signal from any digital audio source to the micro sound system: a gaming console, a digital TV cable box, or a streaming source.

The MS30.2BT now features an improved CD playback mechanism – it is more precise and works faster –– for a better user experience. The CD drive can play classic CD-Audio discs, CD-Rs and re-recorded CD-RWs with MP3 or WMA files.

On the lower right-hand side of the front panel, a USB port is located to accommodate a USB pendrive with music files in MP3 and WMA formats. The USB player feature supports media with a maximum capacity of 32GB – that’s plenty of space and many hours of listening to your favourite tracks.

In addition to the USB port, there is an AUX input being a standard mini jack port for connection to an external audio source, like an older generation smartphone with headphone output or any source of analogue audio signal.

If for some reason you don’t want to use the included speakers, you can connect wired headphones to the dedicated mini jack port on the front panel.

The MS30.2BT also offers an integrated FM radio tuner that can store up to 40 stations in the presets. This will allow you to quickly turn on and tune into your favourite radio station. A wired aerial is included, but the micro sound system also features a 75-ohm port that can be connected to an external antenna for an improved reception.

SOUND

An even more powerful amplifier is built into the MS30.2BT, which generates 2×25 W of continuous RMS power. Combined with the speakers enclosed in a wooden bass reflex housing, the result is a full, dynamic sound that will be enjoyed whether watching films or sports channels or listening to your favourite music.

To tailor the sound profile as much as possible to the user’s listening preferences, the micro sound system features separate treble and bass controls with +/- 6 levels, as well as a Loudness function to increase the dynamic range of the sound output when listening at low volume levels.

Due to the wide range of application possibilities of this system and to ensure even easier operation, this model features a parametric equaliser. These are four presets provided: MUSIC – the most optimal setting when listening to your favourite tracks; GAME – perfect for playing video games, NEWS – the right mode when watching news channels and MOVIE – best when watching action movies or TV series.

PRODUCT CONTENTS

The MS30.2BT is a classic micro sound system with a small head unit and two speakers which enthuse a modern sense of design. The whole system is available in black. The system has a remote control with which all the offered functions can be operated, and a new, larger LED display in white which –– in addition to information on the number of the song being played or the radio station frequency –– also features a digital clock. To round off convenience, an alarm function is provided that can automatically turn on the micro sound system.

Included are the head unit, two speakers, a remote control with the necessary batteries, a mini-jack cable, a wired FM antenna, a user manual in 13 languages, and a warranty certificate.
