The BB8BT is a new model in the Blaupunkt brand’s range of portable, boombox-type radio players. As the device is battery- and mains-powered, it can be taken where you want to play music from conventional CD discs, or listen to your favourite radio station. Simple design, unique shape, high-quality workmanship – these are just a few of the product’s advantages.
The built-in Bluetooth module gives you the possibility to connect with all kinds of portable devices which are compatible with the latest technology, and play music which you and your friends choose. Both the songs stored in the memory of such devices and the music from streaming services or internet radios will sound much better than when listening with the use of factory-supplied headphones.
The fact that the BB8BT model can play CD’s recorded in CD/ CD-R / CD-RW formats makes it an excellent music device. The function of replaying your favourite song on the disc, or the entire content recorded on the carrier, is available during playback. In addition, it is possible to set the playback order for up to 20 chosen songs, and, thanks to this, the users are able to create their own playlist.
The device also has an FM tuner with a digital PLL synthesis, which facilitates the use of the radio. With the push of one button you can automatically scan for available radio stations and save up to 40 channels in the memory. Users can also tune into stations manually and program them in any order they wish. The entire tuning process is very easy, and takes a small amount of time.
The AUX socket, which is located on the rear panel of the device, allows users to connect any portable music players with headphone output or audio-signal output. To enjoy the better sound quality offered by the BB8BT all you need to do is connect the two devices using a cable with 3.5 mm mini-jack plugs on both ends.
The radio player is also mains-powered via the supplied cable, as well as with an optional (not included) set of 6 R14 batteries. The cable can be stored in the battery compartment when the device is being powered using the batteries. A built-in telescopic antenna facilitates good reception from radio stations, and the LCD display is able to show the radio frequency, and the playback time for the given song on the CD or the clock, which complements the functionalities of this handy radio player.
